Why verification fails in Mumbai

• Signage that is not permanent. A printed sheet, a banner, or a sticker will usually be rejected. Google wants fixed, professional signage carrying the exact business name on the profile.
• Address that cannot be found. Shared buildings, unit numbers missing from the address line, and pin locations dropped on the wrong side of a road are common in dense areas.
• Name mismatch. The name on the profile does not match the signage, the registration documents, or both.
• Video that misses required elements. The walkthrough has to connect the street, the signage, the interior, your equipment or stock, and proof of management in one unbroken recording.
• Category ineligibility. Some service-area categories are not eligible for a street address at all.
• Postcards that never arrive. A genuine problem in parts of Mumbai, and one that can waste weeks before you realise the request has expired.
